“May I have a dollar please?”

With his hands out wishing for some release

All pride packed away

instead of living for tomorrow

hes living for  today

“No Change” How can he defend this

Pride shows his face again

Cold Sleepless lonely nights

with only his mind to pull out and read at night

fears deepens further in his skin

hes constantly trying to find a hole to lay in

A nickle here and a nickel there

Does it hurt others so bad for them to share

Labor wont accept his filth

Public restrooms, don’t supply the needs for his wealth

To be continued…..
